Our very talented jewellers are frequently asked by our clients to create a piece that is unique. Recently, each jeweller responded to such a request.
Designing gents wedding rings with a difference has always appealed to me, but in general, when clients are selecting wedding rings, most of the focus is on her ring. So, when Greg came to me to propose a design for his wedding ring, I jumped at the chance.
During our consultation, Greg and Sue were telling me about their most recent holiday, a motorbiking trip around Australia. Their faces lit up while they were telling me all about their adventures; I could tell this was a special holiday. They showed me photos – one stood out – and I felt instantly inspired!
The striking contrast between the crystal clear waters and the rugged red landscape creates a dramatic effect only achieved by Mother Nature.
It was an aerial shot of the Western Australian coastline, near Broome. I came up with a piece of jewellery that I hope reminds Greg and Sue of the special moments they share.
