Abrecht Bird Jewellery Gallery
A showcase of the artistic talent and artisan skills of our workshop team.
We are delighted to announce our jewellery gallery is now open!
We extend a warm welcome to all our loyal clients (and new ones) to visit to celebrate this important milestone.
At Abrecht Bird we pride ourselves on our unique hand crafted jewellery, creating pieces that no one else has, and crafting durable items that last a lifetime.
Our jewellery gallery will showcase some of the finest hand crafted designs, a number of them available for purchase and pieces previously created for clients on loan for a limited time.
The themes of our first exhibition revolve around the colour blue and ‘eclipse’.
A few years ago, we staged an ‘in-house’ competition to judge which staff member could design the best piece of jewellery based on the concept of an eclipse. We could never decide whose work was the best – so we resolved to manufacture each design to let others judge. Since then, our staff members Kylie and Yuki have added to the collection by contributing their own designs.
Intending to spark the imagination of the participating artists by the result of the phenomenon rather than the literal celestial definition, we promoted the use of such concepts as light and shadow, black and white, the hemispherical rainbows of diffracted colour, to handcraft inspiring pieces of wearable art by using black, white or even yellow diamonds and any combination of precious metals.
We also have a number of blue gemstones available. With endless cuts and hues, you can select (and we can also source) the best gemstones for you and custom create your own piece of Abrecht Bird Jewellery.
Be sure to visit before the ‘eclipse’ collection is gone and to view our creative designs or even design your own. Our showroom and jewellery workshop is located on Level 2, 227 Collins Street, Melbourne. We look forward to seeing you soon.
Please email us firstname.lastname@example.org to make an enquiry or schedule an appointment. Alternatively call for further information 03 9650 3830.
Our opening hours 9-5.30 Monday to Friday. Saturdays by appointment.
